Who we are
Omega have been arranging commercial mortgages since 1989 and were a founder member of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers. We have been panel commercial brokers for St James’s Place since 2000.
Our MD Kevin Jones is on the board of the NACFB and has over 35 years in the financial industry. Between them our team of commercial advisors has almost 75 years finance sector experience, most of which has been directly involved in commercial finance.
Because of our long standing connections within the commercial finance industry we are one of the few brokers who can genuinely offer a whole of market proposition for commercial finance.
What we do
We arrange commercial finance – that’s it!
Our commercial team only deal with sourcing and placing all types of finance for businesses, whether it’s property based, factoring, asset based or cashflow based for management buy-ins-and- outs. This can be either whole of market on a brokering basis, or a lender from our commercial packaging panel.
We are not interested in residential mortgages, keyman cover, critical illness cover or income protection – any requirements for any of these are passed directly back to the introducing SJP partner.
How we work
We do not charge up front fees for initial discussions, we only ask new clients to pay a nominal one-off retainer fee at the point we are requested to proceed, this is then netted off the fee charged when the client gets the finance .
No further fees (other than valuation costs where applicable) are payable by the client unless and until they sign a lender’s offer by way of acceptance.
Depending on the level of service required by introducers we can take the whole process over and deal with the proposal from top to bottom with no further involvement from you. This means if necessary we can work with only a name and phone number for the client.
Of course we acknowledge that clients belong to our introducers and we will stay in contact all the way through the process to keep you up to date.
If you want to be really involved and the case fits one of our packaging panel lenders, you can choose to receive a full lender procuration fee in return for doing more of the work.
